Physical Therapist

Jess is a Physical Therapist at the Pennsylvania Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (PCSRI). In her role, Jess is dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the cancer. She works tirelessly to help patients stay strong and active during their cancer treatment and also helps alleviate swelling, pain, fatigue, and decreased mobility.

What Jess loves most about her position is the opportunity to help people reach their goals. She finds immense joy in witnessing her patients achieve something that is important to them, no matter how big or small the goal may be.

Jess has always felt a calling to help people and recognizes the significance of physical activity in overall health. This inspired her to enter the healthcare field, and as a Physical Therapist, she uses physical activity to improve her patients' quality of life.

With more than ten years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Jess has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals and nursing homes. However, she finds oncology to be the most rewarding space. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University.

In her free time, Jess is an avid exerciser and enjoys attending 5:30 am boot camp classes before work. She loves hiking and visiting National Parks with her husband and two kids on the weekends.
